A country of many contrasts from the beautiful Eastern Highlands to the wild remoteness of the African bush where the big game of Africa roam free; from the modern hotels to the ancient monuments of Great Zimbabwe built by a long past civilization; and the Victoria Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world.

The people are warm and friendly, pleased to welcome visitors to their country. While on safari you can see magnificent lions, vast herds of elephants, beautiful delicate antelopes and a wonderful display of birds. To sit in the evening by your camp fire while on safari in Zimbabwe and hear the noises of the African bush around you will be an experience long treasured.

Zimbabwe is lovely all year, in fact photographic opportunities can be very exciting during the rainy season, with incredible concentrations of wildlife feeding on the lush green grass along the foreshore of Lake Kariba; while in the dry months of September and October large herds of elephant can be seen in Hwange National Park.

The peak time for game viewing in Zimbabwe is August – September when it is warm to hot and sunny all day but the dry season from April through to October/November provides you with plenty of opportunity for good game viewing. October and November can though be very hot.

The rainy season tends to be from December through to March when the game disperses with many temporary water supplies available to them.

The Victoria Falls are at their most spectacular between February through to May/June.
